I was thinking about opening a mutual fund account for my nephew. He's only 8 month's old, but rather than toys and clothes, I thought a mutual fund account would be better. Would this be possible? He's got a social security card, but what other types of identification would I need?

I got this card back in 8/2007. I have never had a problem with the card. It has boosted my credit up a great deal. After having the Tribute card for 5 months I got a credit increase.

Tribute has the worst online service, you can't find out anything about your account without signing up with Adobe. Also they take forever to cash your check and then charge you a late fee. I am trying to establish credit and they are killing it. Extremely disappointed..I paid through my bank before my due date and they cashed it a week later.

Hi, I've been looking into opening a trading account and a roth ira account at Tradeking, but because it is the end of the year, I don't want to start funding them yet until 2008. Does Tradeking require funding them immediately? With Christmas coming up (i.e. shopping) and already thinking about tax season, I just want to take it slow, but taking that first step is the most important. If you can drop me a line, that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
